FAQ1. Why are all of your beautiful items not available online to regular shoppers? We have several thousand items available in our store, many of which are limited edition or unique, and one-of-a-kind artist pieces, which is why Home Grown repeatedly garners “Best of” awards around the Philadelphia region. Unfortunately, it would be quite difficult to maintain a website featuring all of these items in addition to the registry element. We have decided to focus on the registries -- for now. We are open from 10 am – 5:30 pm EST, Monday thru Friday; 10 – 4 on summer Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. We are closed for various holidays, like New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving . So, if you’re not sure if we’ll be open on a random holiday, consider calling the store to check before you make the trek. 3. How do I keep track of a bridal order I've placed? You don't have to -- we do. Once we receive your order, you will receive a telephone confirmation. We like to call to ensure you’re up-to-date on the status of your shipment and answer any questions you may have. Please remember all orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt. 4. How do you ship? We ship UPS ground, insured. We send packages within 48 hours unless the item is out of stock. If an item is out of stock, we notify you immediately so we can decide what is the best way to proceed. Most packages take 2-8 business days to arrive at their destination. We do not ship Internationally. If returning an unwanted gift, please make sure you include your personal information inside the box so we can contact you when the return is received. Please remember to insure the items being returned. We are not responsible for lost or damaged goods in transit back to Home Grown. 5. Does my registry show gift purchases? Yes, your registry will show all items desired, items purchased and items currently not available. Please remember we make every effort to keep all of your items available for sale, but sometimes our vendors discontinue products. If something discontinued does become available at some point in the future, we will update your registry accordingly. We maintain the registry online for one year and then it is available forever just by calling the store. We keep a copy in our files so that anniversary gifts, etc. can always be accessed. Please note that some vendors have seasonal price increases on various products. It is important to understand that if you register for a place setting on any given year — and for instance — a distant aunt decides to wait until the following year to purchase your gift, there may have been a small price increase on that piece that we have to pass on to stay financially responsible. |
